The seven points of developmental care for preterm neonates: Nurses’ knowledge and attitudes in the NICU Room

Preterm neonates (premature infants) are born with various risks that require them to be admitted the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) which is full of stressors. The impact stressors in NICU on infants can minimized by provision seven points developmental care. Unfortunately, nurses’ knowledge and attitude implementing care was still lacking, not all nurses did. This study aims identify effect education increasing attitude. pre-experimental research design one group pretest-posttest chosen, involving 28 who were selected using simple random sampling technique. inclusion criteria respondents included more than 1 year work experience. Education given 3 times a duration 2 hours through online videos. Data analyzed Wilcoxon test.
